Even if you're not a Grace Kelly fan, there's enough star power in this movie to satisfy your cinematic appetite. Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby and Louis Armstrong lead an easily likable cast of characters in Charles Walters' musical remake of The Philadelphia Story.

The plot may seem a bit thin in some points but honestly the acting and songs (which were written by the legendary Cole Porter) are entertaining enough to push past this issue.

Many of the reviews that you see with tell you that Grace Kelly doesn't hold a candle to Katherine Hepburn's take on Tracy Lord. Frankly, I think they both do an excellent job in their own way. If you had to switch the roles (Grace do the original and Hepburn do the musical) I think you would still come out with an equal performance. Personally, for me, I have to give the slight nod to my favorite actress ever, yes, ever - Grace Kelly.
