Boom!!!!

Movie is good family oriented. Great moral great plot. It is proof that you should never give up never give in. And the awesome part is when they pray and then he wins the next round which is also the round he needs to win. No cursing that i heard, no sex. How often do you find a movie without all that

PG Not So Serious Family Fun...Entertaining.

While the critics weren't particularly impressed, this viewer disagrees with any negative assessment of value here. Sure, the film could have been improved in a couple of ways but it really comes down to whether or not it's entertaining and worth the price of a ticket. That answer would be yes, and yes. Is it the movie of the year? Nope. Still, it's warm, comical and not especially difficult to enjoy. But the boys will probably enjoy it a good bit more than the gals. See it though. You won't be disappointed.

Kevin James is the bomb!

This movie was awesome! It was funny, had great action sequences, and some heart in it. Kevin James is fantastic as Scott Voss and so is Salma Hayek as the school's nurse Bella Flores ( who is Scott's love interest). The part with Scott training was my favorite part. Great spots-comedy and one of Kevin James best movies!

Exceptionally Inspirational

This movie is about getting rid of complacency for the right reasons- others. To be an inspiration. To do your best even when the system or the job seems to prohibit it. It shows how to treat a lady as he pursues his love, the school nurse. It shows that even God wrestled Jacob by quoting Genesis and is showed the importance of prayer as the team held hands in prayer together before the big fight. No greater love than to lay down your life for someone. Although he doesn't die, he definitely is offering himself as a gift of love to his friend and to the students. Worth going!!!

Family Enjoyment!

No sex, no profanity, no gore, no pro-socialist agenda - therefore professional critics hate it!

Normal people that enjoy entertainment with a feel-good message will love this movie for what it is, ENTERTAINMENT.

Sometimes we just want an enjoyable movie, and this does the job very well.

Here Comes The Boom

Loved every minute of it. It was hilarous and had a lot of heart. Loved the plot, and had some very real moments and great lines in there. The Cast was fantastic, Kevin James and Henry Wrinkler are perfect together, and the trainer, well nominate him for an oscar. It's not just about fighting it's about standing your ground. This is for MMA Fans, and Comedy fans alike, but don't take my word for it, see it for yourselves.

Surprised

I went into this movie thinking that it would be another Mall Cop or Zookeeper, but unlike those movies, I found myself cheering for the main characters. There was a better level of empathy than with the previous Kevin James movies and you'll have a few laughs too.

What do the Critics Know?

This was the funniest movie I've seen for a while. Kevin James cracks me up. It's a film you can take your young teens to and everyone will have a good time. The story had a good moral theme and, although it is a secular movie, it wasn't afraid to show strong Christian men praying together. The fan reviews say it all. If you haven't seen this one go out and see it now.

Funny movie....

There was some funny parts to the movie. Kevin James was funny and pulled off the part pretty well. He uplifted the kids in the class and got a lady in the process. A win win. I don't really think he could do the real UFC, but it was funny. Kid/ teenager friendly.

BOOM

BOOM, BOOM, BOOM shake the room. This movie is one of a kind! I enjoyed every minute of it. Kevin James is one of a kind. This movie had all the thrills of an action packed movie, all the humor of a comedy and all the romance of a love story! UFC, love story,education, The American spirit! Who could ask for anything more!

Great Bang for Your Buck!!!

Very good family orientated movie. Had boys night out with my two younger sons and it was a blast! Lots of laughs and a good story line with a moral. We need more films like this out there where the whole family can enjoy it!!

Perfect Family Movie

Finally a perfect family movie - something for everyone - warm and fuzzy for the girls- wrestling scenes for the boys - and comedy! We all loved it! As a parent it is very difficult to find a movie that is not full of swearing, extreme violence and sex scenes. Here Comes the Boom was a clean and fun movie! I highly recommend it!

Really fun!!!

I really loved it!!! I took my 9 year old the other day just to have something to do, and figured that with Kevin James and Henry Winkler it would at least be enjoyable and that it was. I do not understand a bad review for this movie, it was fun with a message. maybe not one we haven't seen before, but I'm getting rather tired of Zombies and language that is cheap and disgusting. Man, look at our society, it's really sad that you can't just have a good clean enjoyable film come out and they have to rush to give a bad review and other stupid people follow that review and don't go see it as they have allowed others to dictate what they will or won't like...whatever..if you're going to expect War and Peace, or you need the drug of sex and disgusting language than clearly this movies is not for you...don't go...but don't go and give bad reviews to an innocently fun and enjoyable film you can actually take your kids too other than another Pixar film...(which are always the best!!)

GREAT MOVIE. WALK OUT FEELING HAPPY

This was a great movie. Interesting plot and funny the whole way through. The critics don't like it because no one gets killed, there is no nudity and it is not a movie that you have to take a prozac to recover from. It is a good movie that will have you smiling the whole way through. I have never seen an audience so engaged in a movie the whole way through. Will go again.

What can I say? This is the first movie I've been to in at least 20 years that the audience clapped at the end. Top notch stuff! Proof that you don't need sex, the F-bomb or extreme stupidity to make an excellent movie. I wouldn't suggest for children under the age of 11 or 12 simply for the mixed marcial arts violence, however, this is one that is going in my video library!
Well done Kevin James! I am a fan for life! This is Oscar Worthy in my book!
