This part of the saga gives some depth to the character. Does what it needed to do.
from the beginning this movie caught my attention in so many ways. the major point was when they were presenting the history of mankind and the war with the elves. how men were made of sticks coincides with the mayan legende that during the four previous worlds that existed, one of the materials the gods used to make men was wood, and i was so moved at how this could have so many true historical implications. read up on it... history is so much more exciting when modern filmmaking and technology add to it.
Expected this to be really, really stupid, but it's actually really, really good. Would reccomend it to anyone. Just bought it off eBay, myself.

I enjoyed watching the first Hellboy and was very excited to see what they would do withe the second one. I'm glad the same people came back to play the characters. I think Ron Pearlman is a great actor and does very well with the action in the movie. Slema Blair is a beautiful girl and plays the semi-fragile hero well. I was very happy with the story line and the visual effects. Nothing looked like it was cheaply made and was very believable.
