What an amazing night!
by
I was shocked that the event was not sold out. Where else, but in LA, do you have access to writers and directors that are so happy to share their experiences and knowledge. I think a lot of people take these opportunities for granite.
Both the screenwriter and director were hysterical and freely shared the good, the bad, and the ugly about the movie. You get a whole different perspective on the film when you meets the minds behind.
This is definitely a night I will remember for the rest of my life. As an aspiring screenwriter, it's comforting to know that even professionals started out clueless, and that is sometimes a better thing than writing to what the studios want.
I have always found the Q&A is at the Aero and the Egyptian to be well worthwhile. Plus, it's always fun to catch a movie that you never saw in the big-screen, projected in the theater. And interestingly not, this wasn't even the final print. I walked away re-charged.
