Enjoyed the IMAX 3-D experience
This was a fine film to see on the truly big screen, in 3-D, no less. The pacing of this latest installment in the Potter series was at times glacial, but given the storyline, it is necessary to move the franchise forward. Some key character background info is revealed, though it is a wee bit anti-climatic, but even so, Harry and the gang did a great job. I really enjoyed seeing Harry and his cousin in a more contemporary setting at the beginning of the movie, and all of the young actors are growing up, so that's interesting to see as well.
In plot and in cinematography, the film is very dark--a foreshadowing for what lies ahead, I suspect. An the action scenes were exciting - Voldemort's supporters are no group to shrug off, that's for sure! Definitely go see it, in 3-D if at all possible. There is some 'internal emoting stuff' from the book that doesn't translate too well on film, but it is key and overall, you won't be too disappointed. Enjoy!
