Good but the books are better

     by  edwardcullen521

This is my favorite Harry Potter movie but the book is way better. It wasn't as dark as I expected it to be though. It moved a little to fast for me though. Mainly it's just focusing on the Tri-wizard cup and not Harry's friendships or life at Hogwarts. The acting was pretty good and it was entertaining but boring in some parts. But Over all it was a good movie.

    The Fourth Installment

This movie definitely shows that the heroes - Harry, Ron, and Hermione - are growing up, as are the films themselves. Harry, now 14 years old, is faced with the Triwiazrd Tournament - dragons, merpeople, and an ominous maze, a caniving journalist, finding a date to a dance, and the death of a fellow classmate. Stars Radcliffe, Grint, and Watson have matured greatly, as have their acting skills, and new co-stars shine. "Goblet" is a spectacular, action-packed film that Potter fans and others will surely enjoy.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

     by  ojensen

Acting: The prestige actors like Gary Oldman, Maggie Smith, and Alan Rickman carry most of the weight but as for the children, they play stronger roles and carry the heart of the film. With adding actors like Ralph Fiennes and Jason Isaacs to the Harry Potter mix the film becomes even more prestige Direction: Pace was good, but the film focuses on the Triwizard Tournament to much not allowing time to focus on Harry?s friendships. Mike Newell brings and new vision to the Harry Potter world. He brings the British culture in the story more than Alfonso Cuaron and Chris Columbus did, while at the same time keeping dark and complex story that Alfonso Cuaron created and the family film genre that Chris Columbus created.

not one of the better ones.....

this movie lacked the 'darkness' portrayed in the fourth book. I thought it was a little to 'up-beat' and also, that the beginning moved much too fast. If your a Potter fan, i would advise you see it, but it really isn't as good as the others
