I was not all that impressed with the second movie. The storyline was good but there was very little dancing and music. The movie was more about the family, little one running off, then being reunited with family. The first one was much better. I would not necessary go rush out to see this movie. Would wait for it to come out on DVD to rent it.

I was very disappointed that the producers of Happy Feet Two used the movie as a politcal/moral forum to interject their personal views on homosexuality and fidelity in marriage. I do not appreciate my children being exposed to homosexuality and found the puffin's blatant advances on a married woman (including sucking on her TONGUE?!) offensive. I have family members that are homosexual whom I love dearly & we respect their views in our family, but pushing this into movies for children is over the top. I was turned off by the blatent content and would NEVER see this movie again, nor recommend it to ayone!

I thought this movie was super cute! Both me and my 7 year old son shed a couple tears too. There was an earlier comment about "gay krill"...I didn't think the krill were gay, just good buddies...nor would I believe any kids would think that way either.

Very cute! My niece and nephew liked it a lot.
Personally I felt that it was not as good as the first one in terms of both plot and musical score. The last third of the movie seemed to drag on, and finally that solo aria by Eric was tedious at best! Robin Wlliams and the Elephant Seal were terrific, though!
