Ok, it is time to stop with the dancing, talking, singing animals.  I cannot count the times I looked at my fiance and rolled my eyes.  I understand that the movie was for the kids...of which 1 out of the 3 fell asleep, but unless they are going to allow parents to drop kids off at the theater and pick them up 2 hours later, the movie has to be at least a little interesting to an adult.  Also, why make an animated movie PG?  Were there not enough songs in the last 50 years of music to pick from to be able to avoid using "Let's talk about sex" (*sarcasm alert* Although the "let's talk about x" was a brilliant way around that).  I did like the message at the end, but at that end the only thing I was thankful for was the fact that it was over.  Color me strongly disappointed and out $25 with nothing to show for it.

Under the diguise of taking my 2 year old to see Happy Feet I can honestly say that I enjoyed a movie about dancing penguins and love. The talented voice actors made the movie even more enjoyable. My son would not stop laughing. The leopard seal scene was intense for my boy but nothing that popcorn and a soda couldn't soothe. Kids were dancing in the aisles and any movie that can make that happen deserves my vote. Great time!

Political Statement Feet?

The music was fun and there were a few really funny parts. Should have stuck to entertaining families instead of attemping to point out the ills of society, I watch Southpark for that. Those things do need to be addressed, but it seemed to just be thrown in randomly. Some of the stereotypes came off a little crass/rude.
