    Toe tapping to an environmentalist tune

    I love cute little animals.
    I love the planet Earth.
    The two are not mutually exclusive but I do want to know I'm going to support environmentalism when I'm going to the theater. If I'm in a light hearted mood then all I want to see is a light hearted flick.

    Happy Feet had plenty of happy toe tappin' moments. There were, of course, the exclusionary portions as well as the political moments. I walked into the movie expecting a cute little movie about a baby penguin who tap dances. They just had to complicate my viewing experience with a plot.

    If I had been clued into the political portion before hand I'd have given it a Must Go but I felt a bit duped. That will teach me not to read reviews before seeing a move.
    Enjoy!
    Oh, and you'll develop a greater appreciation for Stevie Wonder!
