The Russian black comedy Happy Birthday, Lola! stars Ekaterina Guseva as the title character. On her birthday, Lola expects a surprise so when two strange men knock on her door and ask to come in she acquiesces. The two men, named Bim and Bom, turn out to be killers who are planning to kill a politician from Lola's room. The hitmen make Lola their hostage, and she must figure out how to get away from the pair. The film was directed and co-written by Vladimir Shchegolkov. ~ Perry Seibert, Rovi
