I don't know if it isn't my type of humor or what, but this movie had me a little confused. I like the oddball humor and this had a bit of that, but it also had the cheap laughs. I don't want to give it less than a half rating, but because I'm unsure I cannot give it more than half. maybe I just didn't like it.
It's all good.
amy poehler was funny and so was steve coogan. go south park!
exelent movie not as stupid as i expected...very hartfelt
I tend not to get on places like this and espouse the virtues of films I like... or comdemn mercilessly those I dislike. However, I saw the middle of the road rating in this one and decided I had to chime in to maybe brings things toward where they should be.This movie is fantastic. Admittedly, I starts a little slower thanexpected, but you will laugh out loud and leave the theater quoting little bits and pieces for weeks (my friends and I are still quoting it after seeing it opening weekend). The one thing I REALLY wanna point out is that I saw this film twice, and while everyone I took both times thought it was funny... I found it much funnier the second time. Maybe it's that you're used to the pacing or because the little rough patches don't bother you as much. Or that once you know the "twist" (and I'm using the term loosely) certain lines and situations become funnierPLEASE, give Hamlet 2 a chance if you can, or another chance if it wasn't your cup of tea the first time
