Saw the re-release at Wynnsong 12 in Winston-Salem. My understanding was that the release was digitally re-mastered with 7.1 surround just like the 35th Anniversary Bluray release by Anchor Bay. This is NOT the case. The sound was very tinny and low and only came from the front of the theater. They didn't even widen the screen for the first 20 minutes. Total let down. Watch at home!

It was great to see this movie on the big screen again. There were people of all ages in the theatre and everyone had a blast. This is one of those movies I'd go see every year at Halloween if they would show it. We need them to do this with the original Night of the Living Dead, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the Thirteenth, The Omen, and of course, The Exorcist!!
