I was 8 when the movie came out and when I saw it for the first time in theaters. It was such a great experience seeing it again on the big screen! It brought back so many memories, this movie is why I love horror flicks to this day. If you are wondering if you should go, GO! The sound and picture quality was perfect at my theater. The only negative I can say is I did not expect nor like the documentary in the beginning. It should be put at the end for those that want to stay to see it, having it in the beginning where it showed most of the great scary parts sort of diminished the movie's effect. I've waited 35 years for this and just wasn't excited having to watch the documentary first. Re-releasing this iconic movie was the perfect thing to do for it's 35th anniversary!

Great film, not much can be said that hasn't been said of John Carpenter's classic. It was amazing to be able to see it on the big screen.

Having seen this movie more than several times, it was a treat to see it on the big screen. I am a huge fan of the franchise, but especially this movie. The sound wasn't always great, the picture a bit grainy at times, and the special effects corny, but it didn't matter. This movie is well made, especially considering the original budget it was made with. If you are a fan of this move and have the chance to see it in a theater I would highly recommend it.

The movie picture quality was excellent for a 30 year old movie but the way they had the sound hooked up was less than sub par. They had it running on two channel audio and it was being drowned out by not only the surrounding movie theatre sound but by the AIR CONDITIONER! Needless to say my friends and I have all decided we will be staying in to watch it on the big screen at home where we can actually hear it!
