    The Best in Years!!

    I was a bit apprehensive to see a horror film by a director named "Rob Zombie", especially a remake of a movie by a CLASSIC director, John Carpenter.

    Surprisingly enough though, I was extremely entertained by Rob's new vision of "Halloween".

    The first hour is the best, showing how Michael Myer's "Perfect storm of interior and exterior factors, resulting in the making of a psychopath", plays out like nothing I've ever seen in horror.

    I usually take slasher/suspense "horror" movies and just use them to relax me after a hard day, not to really gain any insights into life or even get scared (the truly "scary" horror films for me are ones dealing with the supernatural or paranormal, such as THE EXORCIST).

    Here, Zombie has made both something of an A&E special on how the mind of a serial killer ticks, in addition to a good old fashioned suspense-fest.

    I WAS FASCINATED BY THIS "NEW" APPROACH TO THE HORROR GENRE, AND I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THIS FILM TO EVERYONE INTERESTED IN IT!!

    way too much blood on the ground for bengin stabbed one time
    was the rape scen nessacary or dose rob zombie just think thats scary
    no it was not nessary
    why would they remake a classic?
    rob zombie i hope you know you made a horrible movie

    Halloween Directed by Rob Zombie

    I am not a fan of slasher movies. I have never like any of the other Halloween movies.
    But, Rob Zombie is the greatest horror movie directors of all time. That was the only reason I wanted to see this movie. Rob Zombie has a very inventive, creative, and original mind when it comes to his movies.
    Halloween has turned out to be one of my most faviorite movie.

    This movie has it all: boobs,blood, and good old horror.I don't understand how some people don't like this movie because it is awsome.

    Great Movie with an Unexpected Plot

    This is the best horror movie I've seen so far this year. I like how at the beginning of the movie they gave you a little background of how Michael Myers became who he is. I was so scared, I had to keep pausing the movie and getting ready for a scary part. I even had to sleep with a night light for a week!!! This is definitely a must-see for all horror fans=]

    Better than i expected

    as a die-hard horror fan, i loved the orginal halloween. So i was expecting this one to absouletly butcher the movie. I was shocked to find it actually very good. Too much foul language, and unneccasery nudity(like a random rape scene) but other than that a good addition to the films.

    Halloween !!!

    This, I have to say, is one of the best remake of any horror movie! I thought it was going to be lame and predictable but it wasn't! It was SCARY! When I thought the movie was coming to the end, it kept going, but not in a boring way but in the good yes i want to see more way! There is nudity so I don't recommend it to younger people especially little kids! The movie is gruesome in some areas so you have to mind that. If you like seeing bloody movies this is def. one of those movies!!

    Very Disgusting

    As a young girl, this was the worst movie I have ever seen. There were too many sex scenes and it was cheesy and gross. My friend and I left like a half an hour into it.

    Halloween

    This is Rob Zombie's best! I saw it twice in theaters, and bought the unrated DVD when it came out I say that this movie is worth the money and I strongly recommend it. If you're looking for an exact remake of the original, then you'll be disappointed. But I think this movie deserves an easy B! Compared to Rob Zombie's first two movies, this one tops both of them combined. Though, the alternate ending on the second disc of the unrated DVD was pretty gay.
