Thrown into the life of driking and brutal violence for England's West Ham United football ( known as soccer in the U.S) firm, wrongfully expelled Harvard undergrad Matt Buckner (Elijah Wood) finds himself looking for a fight everywhere he goes and almost becomes addicted to the violence. Matt finds himself immersed in the life of the Green Street Elite and the leader Pete Dunham's right hand man, played by England's own Charlie Hunnam. Green Street Hooligans takes the audience on a roller coaster of emotions from highs of redemption and pay back, to the feeling of defeat and even death. With the last fight scene touching on every emotion and the consequences of violence. This 2005 film by Lexi Alexander has you on the edge of your seat from the very beginning and never lets up. With the vast array of camera angles you feel as if you're lined up with the GSE ready for thr charge into battle knowing that no matter what, "don't run. Stand your ground. Fight! Two thumbs up!
