The residents of a rundown apartment building in a Southern city have bonded to become a family of sorts. Errol (Peter Carrs) is estranged from his family, and, together with his girlfriend, ekes out a living doing menial jobs and occasionally stealing things. Their neighbors are two gay men who are forever arguing with each other, and a woman and her abusive husband. It is helpful that they have formed an alliance, because the owner of the building has other plans for it, and wants to evict them. Errol helps them fight this man, who turns out to be his father, and along the way meets up with his mother again. ~ Clarke Fountain, Rovi
