If you ever dream of what it would be like to be in space - directly above earth -looking at all the beauty that is overwhelming that our planet then this is one movie you might love. I was thrilled with the 3DIMAX experience that part gave; however, there were too many things that went wrong - not just one but many. Would be nicer for me and what I was hoping for, to not have so much drama but more reality. I found myself there-in space with them almost as if I was part of their team. I loved this film. This is a film for adults due to the constant fear feelings.

My husband & I went to see this at the IMAX, while this was only the 2nd time that we saw a movie at the IMAX, we were not dissappointed. Every aspect of this movie was amazing, from the acting, to the directing & the cinematography (we actually were ducking & dodging as if the space debris was going to hit us). Fun night out & worth the money for the ticket.

Great movie for IMAX 3D. Special effects really came to life in this format. Even the tears jumped off the screen at times. Movie moved along quickly and there was one challenge after another.
Some negatives about the movie..it was a bit short at just over 90 minutes but it didn't feel short while watching it. Also the ending was a bit predictable.
Overall a very good movie and well worth the IMAX premium charge.

The plot was nothing ground breaking or deep, but seeing this type of action/suspense movie in IMAX 3D was insane!!! It was totally worth the 3 hour drive for the experience!

Gravity is, by far, the best movie of 2013 and easily the most immersive experience I've ever had at an IMAX screening. The most intense flick I've seen in a long time (and I'm a horror nut). This will win win Best Director, Best Original Screenplay and Best Visual Effects. Bullock deserves a Best Actress statue as well. Still really early in the Oscar season so we'll see about that one. Anyway, you won't regret seeing this at an IMAX near (or not near) you. Truly incredible, and in an age where everything's been seen and done before, a wholly original movie.
