Title should be "Sandra Bullock: Space Survivor"

90 minutes of Sandra Bullock with a special guest/cameo of George Clooney was less than I expected. Had it not been for the exorbitant cost of my tickets, I would have left. Save your money, spend it on a good meal or a few beers.

The movie "Gravity" should really have been named "Momentum".

Stunning 3-D visuals, but funky physics. Using a fire extinguisher to stop tumbling was far fetched. Fib 2 was that a highly accelerated debris field would remain in the same orbit, in the same place, in precisely the 90 minutes that it took them to make their way the second time around the earth. Such a debris field, with that momentum, could cross their path once on its way to a higher and different orbit. Fib 3: Clooney's character disconnecting himself from Bullock to drift away... implying that his momentum would prevent her from getting back to an airlock to the station At that point, both his and her momentum relative to the station had already decelerated to zero. They both together and equally could have pulled selves back to the airlock. He was in a better physical condition, with more available oxygen. That he disconnected in a gesture of space age chivalry was ridiculous and endangered her further... by orders of magnitude.

90% of the movie was a single person's struggle to survive against impossible odds. (Sandra Bullock). Nothing particularly insightful or worth recommending. Acting on her part was very good whereas George Clooney's was pat and superficial. See something else.

This movie is a must see. The scenery is breathtaking and the acting by Sandra Bullock...and George Clooney...was superb. The story has you at the edge of your seat a great deal of the time, and seeing it in IMAX 3D is an experience in itself. I would definitely recommend this movie to everyone as a must see in theaters, preferably IMAX, if possible.

Loved the story, loved the acting, loved the effects. I was on the edge of my seat from five minutes in. Gravity is my candidate for best picture, Sandra Bullock for best actress, George Clooney for best supporting actor. It wins best cinematography and best special effects hands down. And Alfonso Cuarón for best director. Seen in IMAX 3D, it knock your socks off. What was really great about it was it's plausibility. This wasn't a science fiction movie. This is a must see movie.
