The visuals of outer space in 3D were fantastic. But I think the panting, grunting of the female character was quite irritating after many repetitious minutes of it. More script development to match the visuals would have made it a very great show. This is written by Siebold's wife ; I think my husband didn't mind the dull panting, in fact the men in the audience may have liked it for some reason. Odd.

as a BIG sci-Fi fan, I expected a little more than a supposedly nasa trained astronaut to be so whinney and panic stricken; the visual effects were so real it blew me away, and authentic. sandra bullocks character did not fit the overall realism of this movie.

One of the worst movies I've ever seen. Impressive special effects, but even they get boring. I was told Sandra Bullock "steals the show." I found that hard to believe since she's just not that good. The reason she steals the show is that she's the only one in the show. She is just not talented enough to make this movie good. You spend the better part of an hour listening to her breathe and gasp from fear. There is no substance to this whatsoever. The ending is horribly schmaltzy, too. It was just plain bad. This was no better than a made-for-tv movie. I spent $29, and I felt ripped off.

Special effects are great and in 3D the stuff coming at you is great. However the over all story line is not great. Acting is great. One more thing if they are in zero gravity was isn't Saundra's hair sticking up? The only effect they forgot.

This movie was somewhat of a disappointment for me and the other three that went to see it together. Sandra Bullock did a great job, but the story just left something to be desired. It was visually spectacular but lacking in storyline.
