Excellent movie! If you like to see movies done realistically with great acting, this one is a keeper. It is especially awesome if you have an interest in astronomy or advances in technology. The storyline has a clear beginning and ending, and keeps you on the edge of your seat during most of the movie. It’s a bit comical to see Sandra Bullock and George Clooney floating around in spacesuits in the beginning but they do such a great job that you immediately buy in to it. It is good for most ages unless you have fears of floating around in space. I may go see this again while it’s still in theaters.

I am not a big fan of 3D because the producers always put in the gratuitous shots of objects flying into your face. These always seem to distract from the story. Having said that, the visual effects in Gravity are quite stunning. Plenty of screen time with Sandra Bullock never hurts. Clooney role is the glib know it all and he seems comfortable in the role. The pace is lightning quick. If you can suspend a little disbelief, you should enjoy the movie.

I don't understand how this movie got so many great reviews???? My husband and I saw it last night and left the theater laughing how bad it was. There was so plot to the movie and just a bunch of 3D visuals. No sub plot either. The movie is really just about one nearly escaped mishap after another and each time Bullock of course nearly escapes. No background really on the characters either. Its one of Hollywoods lets throw some nice visuals with some big names, get it out fast as possible and convince the sheep of the American movie population that it is good.
I'm betting someone from behind the scences actually put in all these Fandango reviews. Several friends were also laughing on how cheesey the dialog was and how it all so crappily just fell into place.

Worst 3-D movie I have ever seen. Just never got what was supposed to be so great about it. I would never see it again. The 3-D effects were alright, but the entire movie was a complete bore to my Wife and I. Sandra Bullock just spends too much time Grunting. A waste of $27.00.

as a BIG sci-Fi fan, I expected a little more than a supposedly nasa trained astronaut to be so whinney and panic stricken; the visual effects were so real it blew me away, and authentic. sandra bullocks character did not fit the overall realism of this movie.
