Kessler Effect!

WOW! What an intense movie! This movie really comes to life in 3D. Gravity is 110% worth seeing on an IMAX 3D screen! Gravity has a tiny cast and an incredible story. The edge of your seat goodness that this movie brings is top notch. George Clooney is immensely likeable. Sandra Bullock gives a knock out performance. This is the first space movie I've ever seen that adheres to the reality that there is no sound in space! Gravity juxtaposes pure silence with an incredible score and the realistic sound vibrations from direct contact with objects as heard inside the astronauts' helmets. Other than the proximity of certain man made objects, Gravity tries to maintain a high level of credibility. While the situation is far fetched, the execution is amazing! Gravity totally lived up to the hype. There's nothing during or after the credits. If you like my reviews, add me as a fan. I'll add you back!

Didn't live up to the hype

I had heard so many good things about this movie, and was severely disappointed. The storyline was too simplistic (a ten year old could have written this). The movie was slow and boring and was pretty much the same thing over and over. I have never been so disappointed in spending money for a movie ticket. Save your money and wait until it comes to RedBox. It wasn't horrible, just not what I was expecting.

I wonder how many of the critics are on the producers payroll. Obviously we didn't see the same movie. Clooney has about a 15 minute cameo and he is 1/2 of the cast. The movie has really great cinematography and animation but absolutely 0 plot. Forget the science fiction, you could stretch your imagination from here to eternity and still not come up a single way this story makes any sense or has a shred of plausibility. Avoid

This was more an experience then a movie. I really think this is about as close to being in space then most of us will ever be. Amazing effects and a solid story line make this film well worth watching. I do suggest catching this movie on the best screen you can, because to be honest I do not think the impact will be nearly as astounding on a TV or inadequate screen. SEE THIS IN THEATERS or you will be missing out! I rarely endorse 3D movies, but this one worked very well and was worth the experience. Sandra Bullock carried this film off amazingly well, and I was not sure how she would do in this, but she really had the chops to make this film special. Clooney was solid and provided an much needed supporting role, but this was all about Sandra and amazing SFX.

SO WHEN DOES THE STORY START?????? This was a movie with no beginning, no middle and no end. No Character development, no exposition, no reason to feel empathy for the characters. We were very disappointed. It had the potential to be a great movie and they missed it. It could have been 15 minutes and it would have been the same.
