    I Move Cars MFer

I you like Talladega Nights and that type of humor, you will enjoy The Goods. A ton of crude humor, which I enjoy, and Piven is awesome. The cameo's by Farrell are perfect. They could have added a few more cities to the experience, however the movie was entertaining. I will buy it on DVD. Have fun, wear the appropriate undies, lighten up, and enjoy the show.

Love the cast, high hopes, but just missed

    by Pos7al

I am a huge fan of Jeremy Piven, though he couldn't help this movie from seeming like it was trying too hard. I'd say pass on seeing it until it is released on DVD, though it could be worth an evening of low expectations and hopes of short-dosed humor.

Did it have laughs, yup. It had quite a few, though they seemed to be drowned out by the laughs that didn't make it. A 'Save the hometown dealer' story that really needs no further description.

If you want to see a good cast and have low expectations for greatness in humor, (I think we were all spoiled by The Hangover) then I'd say to stop by and give this film a shot. If you want to be laughing every moment you aren't breathing, you are going to be disappointed.

See it if: You enjoy the cast and don't expect the movie to match Anchorman, Hangover or Old School
Don't see it if: You want a movie where you will recite lines for the next 2 weeks.

They left the "funny" in the trailers!

I didn't want to believe the reviews after seeing so many trailers for this movie. I thought, "These people must be missing the jokes." No... the movie was missing the jokes it seemed. It was like taking a 10 minute skit and trying to stretch it into a 2-hour movie. I was anticipating this was going to be a laugh-out riot like "The Hangover." Not even close! The energy and zaniness I felt in the trailers just evaporated in the movie. Yes, there were some funny parts, but no... audience laughter was hard to find also. I'm really disappointed. I was expecting so much more than I got. Skip the theater. If you really want to see this one, rent it for the DVD player on a stay-home evening. No... I don't think think Blu-Ray will make it funnier. LOL

    Not bad

I heard a lot of buzz about this movie. But I thought it was pretty funny. It had a very quick ending but all together it was quite funny. Jeremy Piven did a great job and Kathryn Hahn made the movie for me. Its definitely worth checking out

    Not funny at all

I went to this movie on opening night thinking it would be hilarious like "the hangover" but it was anything but that. Within 20 minutes, I knew this was going to be a horrible movie and had to keep myself from walking out. The fact that I spent $22.50 on tickets I think is what kept me sitting in my seat. The jokes were just so far and few throughout the movie. Alot of the jokes were just plain stupid. I love movies like "the 40 year old virgin," "talledegha nights," but this was not even in that league. Will Ferrell's cameo wasn't even funny. It was hard to watch. Save your money and rent this one. I was greatly disappointed by the hype of this movie only to have it be such a horrible piece of work!

    So-So

The movie was I expected... SO-SO.. I didnt even think the movie looked great before I saw it, but seeing advertisements everywhere I went to see it. Movie wasnt that funny.. it was not even silly..Just stupid. Piven is not funny. Ving Rhames and David Koechner were the two funniest, which isnt saying much. I think Craig Robinson is hilarious, but he was not good in this film at all. I wouldn't waste your money on this

    The Bads.

While watching this movie I was torn. I couldn't decide if I should leave because it was horrible or just sit there because I paid $9.50...

The movie made no sense what so ever. I might have half laughed about twice. Save your money.

    LOVED IT!!!

I loved this movie. I laughed all the way through, and didnt think there was one not funny thing about it. I 'm really sad it's out of the theaters already because, I would love to go see it again with my husband. I hughly recommend it to anyone who loved Anchorman, or pretty much any other Will Ferrell movie!

    First Time I ever gave a movie a So-So Rating :)

Hey guys. I just got back from this movie and let me tell you it had its moments, but it just wasn't as funny as everyone else might have thought it would be. I walked into this movie having not even read the reviews on it or anything and expecting a great deal. I was surprised to say the least! It seemed like another employee of the month knock off. The car salesman were kind of awkward at times as well. I got some laughs from the movie, but I did not laugh my *** off like Superbad. Some of the scenes were just plain stupid as well. Overall, I would highly recommend renting this movie if you still want to see it. Otherwise, do not waste your money on this movie :)

    Movie provided some Goods.

'The Goods' is a funny movie, don't be mistaken. In the theater, everyone was laughing. However, there are some awkward and slower-moving parts within it. It was slightly distracting to have two people from 'The Hangover' in this movie.

I went to see this with friends. I would not suggest to any other teen out there to bring their parents along for the ride unless they are cool with you seeing 'Pay-per-view Porno' via a hotel room, a few stripper-club scenes...
You get the picture, I'm sure.

Will Ferrel's cameo and the singers were hilarious. I want an iTunes clip of the entire conversation.

I would see this movie again if I was given the opportunity.

    The Goods

F***ing funny F***ing movie. If your looking for a movie with a great plot this is not the one to see. But if you like one liners and that Family Guy style humor then you will love this movie.

    Just ok

I thought it was funny but unfortunately most of the funny scenes were in the trailer.
