Wow talking guinea pigs! Great. Now how about the plot. Wait, we have talking guinea pigs. What about the characters? We have talking Guinea Pigs IN 3-D! If your kids like talking animated guinea pigs they'll be happy with this (my 9 and 10 year olds were), but this is about as weak as the talking animal genre goes. There's a smack of Transformers in here, but the plot is threadbare, the characters are mildly amusing in places but have no depth at all. I fell asleep DURING THE CHASE SCENE which is supposed to be the main action sequence. Oh if you must take the kids then you must, but keep your expectations low.

My husband & I saw G-Force & we really enjoyed it. It was funny, exciting, & we thought the special effects were excellent. We are both in our 60's & it was a refreshing break from all the violence, blood & gore in most movies these days. It reminded us of Alvin & The Chipmunks with a bit of James Bond gadgetry. It is a good movie for all ages; not just children.
