Amazing follow up on the original pumping iron. Takes you into the lives of the top bodybuilders and how their road is going into the 2012 mr. Olympia. It's pretty much a battle inbeTween phil heath and kai green, but there are other main bodybuilders also in the documentary which is cool by seeing their different approach to how to win the title has some comedy too so aint all that serious the bad thing is that they gave JAY CUTLER only a few moments in the whole thing.

If you're a fan of bodybuilding or a bodybuilder yourself, needless to say, you're going to love this. If you're not a fan, I still think there's a lot to appreciate here. If nothing else, it's a glimpse into the mindset that drives these extreme athletes. Very well directed, great music, great scene transitions and really sets an atmosphere of suspense and draws you in to actually care about these characters. Highly recommended.

I loved this docudrama. Very motivational, some humor, and some emotional moments. I give two thumbs up to all the athletes for their dedication to this sport.

Even if you do not care for the sport of bodybuilding, this movie is worth seeing. The human drama that plays out during the arduous journey that is contest preparation is something that one can certainly understand and relate to. The release of this movie is quite limited and that's a shame. There are real stories of determination, discipline and resiliency that should be told and should be heard.... Give them a listen.

This is an excellent encapsulation (though clearly with a healthy dose of contrived/instigated drama) to get anyone up to speed who loved Pumping Iron but doesn't totally keep up with the field. Very much appreciated the inclusion of many perspectives on performance-enhancing drugs (and the fact that, unlike in many sports, the performance being enhanced is the training, not the endpoint competition). Also, different philosophies on where the emphasis SHOULD be -- all concepts having evolved with the expansion of the field and the popularity/legitimacy that's happened since Pumping Iron. Really loved it -- will watch again -- off to hit the gym now. ^_^
