This movie was fun to watch and had one of the most creative fight scens I think I've ever seen. Don't go in thinking it should comapre to something like Avengers but we had a great time, it is exactly what it should be, a good time, action flick.

The storyline was a little hard to follow for someone like me who does not follow the GI Joe story/cartoons/comic books/etc...closely. There seem to be gaps. I enjoyed the two previous movies much more. If they make another movie we'll still go see it. All in all it was what I expected, lots of action and stuff blowing up. It was still pretty cool.

It's a messy kind of movie. The director probably had the mentality that as long as there's lots of shoot-'em-dead or knock-'em-off scenes for this kind of movie, it'd be alright. Well.... some clapped, those who were just there for the action, and not too analytical or critical. Other than that, it was just not possible to first follow, not to understand the whys. One can argue, you just don't need to know what's going on. Well.... a lot of effort was put into producing it I'm sure, like those mountain chase scenes. They somehow looked very real as they swung from one side to another on the face of the precipitous mountain. How they did it is probably not on everybody's mind. That's how good studio creations on the computer have become, fool-proof. Otehr than that, let me put it this way - even Bruce Lee they thought of putting in, just to rope some fans of his in? He was just a "filler". There were good moments, don't get me wrong. It just was a poorly put together flick.

Just came back from watching GI Joe: Retaliation.... It was an awesome movie hands down and was 10 times better then the first. Great acting from everyone especially Bruce Willis and Dwayne Johnson! I loved the new breakout star D.J. Cotrona as Flint. This movie had great Special Effects and a solid plot that just blows your mind! The fight scenes were incredible and my overall favorite scene was the ending showdown between Dwayne Johnson and Ray Stevenson's characters.. The only downside is the waiting a whole extra year for the movie release... Channing Tatum's 10 extra mins was not worth the extra year long wait (yes he dies and no he doesn't come back) I believe this is a movie for all ages and was worth every penny spent! Can't wait for the 3rd one!!
