The 3D was pretty good, the action was solid, and the acting wasn't bad. Just don't expect an overall special film.
I thought it was a little better than the first film, but that's not saying much considering the first one was a "SO-SO" quality film.
The Pros: Very little down time without action. Features many of the beloved GI Joe characters. Solid action and acting.
The Cons: Bad writing. Absurd plot lines. Seem to lean heavily on the 3D effects at times. Cobra Commanders voice reminds me more of Darth Vader than the Cobra Commander I grow up watching on the classic cartoon.
All in all: if you're a GI Joe fan(especially if you somewhat enjoyed the first film), check it out, for anyone else, you're not going to miss much by not seeing this.

I liked the movie. Lots of action. We saw in 3D which usually is hard for me to see, but was able to enjoy the movie's special effects.
Disappointed that Channing Tatum dies so early in, but other than that, pretty good! Loved Bruce Willis' character.

This is not your typical action movie with lotsa boring talk leading up to a grand finale, there's action building up to more action & then the grand finale!!! Oh yeah; that mountain fight scene & the opening credits are the only thing worth watching in 3D (save your money)

Great popcorn movie with plenty of eye candy for everyone with great visuals. Never a dull moment, and look out for number three, cause its a comin'. I think "The Rock" is in every film this year. He's turning into the Michael Cain of action films. Good for him. Go see it. Great for all ages.

GI Joe Redemption was labeled and charged by the Kips Bay Theater as being shown in 3D but was shown in plan old boring 2d. Is this the kind of business you have reduced yourselves to doing business with? Not sure if I will ever use Fandango again or never go to Kips Bay again but last night was not a good experience in any aspect. I would expect a complete credit at the very least. You figure it out.
