Took our family to see this movie last night. We loved it!! We do not see all movies in 3D, but this one was great! It was as if you were right there and the action was all around you. The mountain scenes were fantastic and beautiful! Everyone should see this movie who likes action, and likes to see the good guys win. I would even go see this movie again in a heartbeat.

Very entertaining film, They toned down much of the excessive CGI and violence. It had a great storyline. There is much to like about this move.
3D is unnecessary, I felt like I didn't get much out of that except for a 2 or 3 time.
You only need the IMAX or regular version.

While the action was good, this is not a movie you walk away from feeling like "I must tell everyone and I must go see it again".
The story line was a bit weak for the hype.
Rate it: 7 out of 10

I went in thinking Rock, Bruce and Tatum but walked out going what happened to Tatum, Destro, Baroness and Ripcord? Both my son and I thought it was missing that all out kick ***movie like the first! I liked it without giving too much of the plot and characters but it definitely wasn't what I expected! The 3rd better be bigger, better and more characters! The coolest part of the movie was the Snake eyes with jinx scene in the Himalayas!

This is what I would call a live Action Comic Book Movie franchise. It should be that way. Rise of Cobra was the start and had to flood you with a lot of background to get new comers to catchup on the story. Now with the second installment Retaliation it is the next Comic Book. Not everything is going to connect. This is still a fun action flick!
The acting is exactly what would would expect from an action movie so don't look for any award winning performances. This is a big explosion cool guns and swords movie.
Just Enjoy The Ride!
The 3D on this is worthless. The speed of some of the action sequences made it to blurry.
I would have enjoyed it more in the regular viewing mode. I should have stuck to my guns and saved 3D money for an Avatar or a Harold and Kumar movie. At least I know the 3D would have been intentional and not an after thought.
