LOVED IT! I really like the real feel of the characters. The action is exactly what I was looking for and I left feeling SATISFIED!! This was an excellent movie, the plot was good, liked the twists on who's who - good writing! If you love action movies then this is a MUST SEE!!!!! Oh yeah...if you see this in 3D as I did, hold onto your seat! Definitely going to get this one for my DVD collection! GO JOE!

Very entertaining film, They toned down much of the excessive CGI and violence. It had a great storyline. There is much to like about this move. 3D is unnecessary, I felt like I didn't get much out of that except for a 2 or 3 time. You only need the IMAX or regular version.

Not as Good as the First

The best thing about this movie: Every scene with Bruce Willis in it. The sword fighting scenes are also pretty good, particularly the one on the side of the cliff. Everything else was kind of meh. Seeing futuristic helicopters and stuff was neat but not exceptional. Maybe I've seen too many action movies, but there wasn't as much "omg that was awesome!" as I was hoping for. All the good guy characters are new and weren't in the first movie, which I didn't like either, the exception being the guy that you never see his face and he doesn't talk (Snake Eyes). I'm all for new characters, but what about the old? Sheesh. That said, the new characters did very well and were fun to watch interact. There was one thing I really didn't like, though. In 3D, they kept throwing things directly at you instead of just slightly past you, very annoying. If you liked the first movie you'll probably like this one, but don't expect miracles. It's not bad, but it's not great either.

Not bad...

The 3D is a little off and some of the action sequences were unexplained or perhaps unexplainable. Very poor job at letting the viewer in on locations and the only character you actually develop a connection with, is not very relevant to the story, if you can call it that. My assumption is that the editors screwed the pooch on this one. A lot of action sequences, but the story was either not very well created or not shared with the viewer at all. However, in the end, the action sequences were really good, especially when it involved the ninjas. For my money, it was a decent movie, but definitely not the best we've seen, or come to expect, from The Rock or Bruce Willis.
