Adam Sandler's Best Movie ever!

Like "The Break-Up" with Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston 3 years ago, "Funny People" is a good movie that has been terribly mis-advertised as a comedy. Sure there are funny lines, especially during the first half of the movie, but this is primarily a serious drama about people in general and Adam Sandler's character in particular trying to find meaning in life and a true source of happiness beyond momentary yucks. Not a perfect movie but interesting and well worth seeing. Take the "R" rating seriously due to the mature themes, pervasive foul language and brief sexual situations.
Funny parts, but sometimes a bit deppressing. Kids seemed to like it, although I wouldn't recommend to kids under age 13.
