Not as good as Brave but still a good flick!

My grandkids, 7 and 11, love Disney and couldn't wait to see this movie. It's a fun movie for any age group; it was especially nice to share this with the grandkids. The digital scenes were quite amazing; beautiful songs and a message for siblings - love one another. So many times Disney movies are girl meets handsome prince and they live happily ever after or true love's kiss makes all things better. Merida was an independent, brave girl; Elsa and Anna are characters you will feel sympathy for because of their separation due to Elsa's powers. Anna's "spunk" saves the day and they save each other. I love the message in this movie.

I knew the movie was from Disney but did not know the origins of the story, but it was still a destination for my two kids (ages nine and six), so I was pleasantly surprised by the plot, the animation, and the music. It was great for them and me. The animation was awesome as usual, but even better than I would have assumed.

I didn't expect to like Frozen as much as I did! Such a treat especially to the eyes with the gorgeous animation. If you have the option to see the movie in 3D, choose 3D! The 3D effects are so well done - and be sure to get to the theater on time to catch the terrific Mickey and Minnie cartoon short that precedes the film. When you see the short, you'll be so glad you choose 3D. Finally, stay until the credits are over for a cute final scene!

The flying snow and floating ice did shock me. The story is just avobe average. By the way, Olaf is funny enough, but can be more wonky!

I saw it in 3D; it was worth the price of admission just to see the intro cartoon in the old style. If you haven't seen it in 3D then you haven't seen it. The movie was great, the ending was non-traditional for Disney and I really appreciated their effort to branch out. The lyrics and the music were a little wonky to me. Felt like some kind of parody of a Disney movie. The effects were stunning- they really out did themselves. All that said, I don't think this will be a Disney movie that kids now will show their kids, the way that my generation has done with The Little Mermaid and The Lion King, or the way my parents did Mary Poppins and Bedknobs and Broomsticks. It's a very well done movie, but lacking the magic that makes a classic.
