I hate politics and news, so was prepared to be bored as I viewed this nominee for Best Picture. Much to my pleasure, I was treated to an excellent human drama. I was on the edge of my seat for most of the movie! It may not win, but after viewing all 5 nominees - it gets my vote!

I found this to be an exceptionally well acted and directed movie. It put a much more "human" face to Nixon and also was very accurate. I remembered the Frost Interviews and found this to be a great look back at a very important time and event in our history.

I can't say enough good things about this film. First, it reminded me of Flags of our Fathers(a great movie) in the kinda flashback mode the movie used, not the same but it's what it reminded me of. Second, Frank Langella and Micheal Sheen were just plain amazing in their portrayals of Richard M. Nixon & David Frost. Third, this is now my single favorite Ron Howard directed movie.
Kevin Bacon was great, as were all of the other cast members.
This movie does a great job of humanizing and getting you to somewhat sympathize with the man who was the "Boogeyman" of the democrats, and considered by many to be one of the worst presidents we've ever had.
My recommendation is to go see this movie as soon as you get the chance, it's got some slight humor, it's moving, it's gripping. Like I said, now my favorite Ron Howard directed film.
You will not be disappointed.
Thanks and happy watchings.

Frost/Nixon was interesting from beginning to end. It had a good bit of humor in it to make you happy, and it had a good bit of drama to keep you on the edge of your seat. The acting in this was phenomenal and everyone in this movie gave a great performance and keep the movie from being boring, espically when this movie has potential to be boring but it doesn't get boring at all through out the movie. This movie is for one a special one since it really happened, and they made it as if it was brand new stuff for your eyes to see so it made it even the more interesting.
GREAT MOVIE, definitely go see it

Frost/Nixon does everything right. Awesome performances? Check. Strong basis in reality? Check. Good, steady pace? Check. Characters you sympathize with and root for/against? Check. But it's just missing something. There's no spark. All the ingredients come together to make a good movie that's missing something that would make it great. Is that the music? Is that the editing? I don't know, I'd have to see it again. But I enjoyed, just wasn't overly impressed with, the film.
