This movie was really slow and boring, its the same ol same ol, beating up people, etc. It seems like all films about New York City now are just out of line and have gone astray from making the film interesting and fun to watch. Although it shows how powerful ignorant, arrogant, and hypocritical people in power eventually fall into ruins with great humiliation, embarrassment, and distress. Fiction in movies like this are a reality in the real world now a days. Theres no escape for justice, eventually the criminal will get got. The saying goes "you can run, but you cant hide." Two great actors (Mike Whalberg, and Russell Crowe), however this movie was pointless to watch, I was having doubts about this one before watching it. Its hardly even worth watching it just once if anything at all. The best film that I know of filmed in New York, was "The Interpreter," with Nicole Kidman and Sean Penn.
