I was excited to see this movie..young fresh cas<wbr />t, simi changed plot line and sometimes updating<wbr /> never hurts.

<br />Red Dawn is what i consider a <wbr />cult classic, the emotions are raw and real and <wbr />the acting was so much easier to connect to. 
<br />W<wbr />ith this remake i struggled at some points to co<wbr />nnect with the characters and look past the cast<wbr />ing. I mean tom cruises son..really! Talk about <wbr />daddy getting you a part.

<br />But anyway the cast<wbr />ing was one of my main problems, chris hemsworth<wbr />s part could have been played by anyone but I lo<wbr />ved Josh hutcherson and Josh peck.

<br />I did like<wbr /> that this movie was non stop action but i think<wbr /> they used that to cover up the lack of plot and<wbr /> the off the grid lifestyle that they didnt show<wbr /> enough of.

<br />I wish I could go see a movie tha<wbr />t i could leave and say yea..i&#39;d see that again.<wbr /> Hell i wanna buy that on dvd. Its been awhile.
