The movie was absolutely great! The acting was REAL, you believed each one of the actors were actually the characters. The Director, Robert Mulligan was a genius in his ability to convey this story. It is an extremely moving picture, Mulligan was able to show the love between Atticus and his children, as well as the respect he had for Calpurnia, the black woman that raised and cared for his children, and in turn the respect the black community had for Atticus. Also, the unfairness of very narrow minded people and a way of life. Mulligan, through Atticus, Jem and Scout showed what really matters in life and the values we all should live by.

This is an extremely important movie, which was released at a very tumultuous time of our country's history. The acting, directing, music and sets rank right at the top of all the movies ever made!

HOORAY, HOORAY to TCM for allowing us the great pleasure of seeing this and other movie classics on the big screen!!
