I have high expectations of Bond, especially sin<wbr />ce rebooting the franchise with Daniel Craig. Ca<wbr />sino Royale and Quantum of Solace both delivered<wbr /> powerful Bond presence. Skyfall should be renam<wbr />ed SkyFAIL. It is solemn, morose, lacks depth in<wbr /> plot, and is heavily plot driven with little ac<wbr />tion. So heavy plot with a lacking plot makes fo<wbr />r a strange experience.  I just couldn&#39;t quite s<wbr />eem to figure out how this fit in with the seria<wbr />l of the new reboot. It seemed to stand alone an<wbr />d have no purpose. It&#39;s the having no purpose pa<wbr />rt I did not like, other than the fact it transi<wbr />tions us to a new MI6. A New M. A New Q. Aside J<wbr />avier Bardem&#39;s brilliant performance, at its cor<wbr />e the film still misses its shot somewhere. It s<wbr />imply fails to deliver powerful Bond presence. L<wbr />et&#39;s hope the new franchise does not continue fo<wbr />rward like this. We need another Bond film very <wbr />soon to make up for this loss.
