I found this monster themed kiddie movie to be f<wbr />airly dull and uninspired.  It isn&#39;t funny or sc<wbr />ary and the story goes completely off the rails <wbr />in the second half.  Tim Burton fans will likely<wbr /> enjoy this more than I did but I think Burton s<wbr />topped being an interesting director around the <wbr />time he did his first Batman film and that he&#39;s <wbr />only done one or two good films since then--Fran<wbr />kenweenie continues his long streak of films tha<wbr />t should have been much, much better.  On the po<wbr />sitive side, iFrankenweenie doesn&#39;t suck nearly <wbr />as much as Dark Shadows did.
