Impressive special CGI special effects. Otherwis<wbr />e, the plot is ridiculous, the character motivat<wbr />ions shift drastically, the thick British accent<wbr />ed dialog is virtually incomprehensible, the sto<wbr />ry makes absolutely no sense, and the disgusting<wbr /> tentacle-mania  now associated with aliens make<wbr />s you just want to forget the whole movie.

<br />A<wbr /> billionaire in 2089 finances a trip to a distan<wbr />t planet so that he can meet the progenitors of <wbr />the human race, and so find a way to cancel out <wbr />his impending death, and return him to youth. Wh<wbr />en the team arrives there they find some hulk-li<wbr />ke character who is now bent on destroying his c<wbr />reation. The robot David tries to kill two of th<wbr />e team, and puts something in one of the drinks <wbr />so that when he has intercourse with his wife, s<wbr />he becomes pregnant with a tentacled, slimy mons<wbr />ter and does a do-it-yourself Ceaserean to get r<wbr />id ot the thing. As in Hamlet, almost everyone d<wbr />ies in the end, and the only survivor makes a st<wbr />upid decision to carry on. End-credits.
