Impressive special CGI special effects. Otherwise, the plot is ridiculous, the character motivations shift drastically, the thick British accented dialog is virtually incomprehensible, the story makes absolutely no sense, and the disgusting tentacle-mania now associated with aliens makes you just want to forget the whole movie.
A billionaire in 2089 finances a trip to a distant planet so that he can meet the progenitors of the human race, and so find a way to cancel out his impending death, and return him to youth. When the team arrives there they find some hulk-like character who is now bent on destroying his creation. The robot David tries to kill two of the team, and puts something in one of the drinks so that when he has intercourse with his wife, she becomes pregnant with a tentacled, slimy monster and does a do-it-yourself Ceaserean to get rid ot the thing. As in Hamlet, almost everyone dies in the end, and the only survivor makes a stupid decision to carry on. End-credits.
