Abraham Lincoln as a Vampire Hunter is a Ridicul<wbr />ous concept.  Many people laughed at first, myse<wbr />lf included.  But once you watch the film, you k<wbr />now director Timur Bekmambetov took this concept<wbr /> seriously. You might have a hard time balancing<wbr /> the Fantastical  visuals with the serious tone.<wbr />  The only problem I had with the film is it see<wbr />med rushed at times, which felt like plot holes.<wbr /> It told a lot of story in 2 hrs though. Best pa<wbr />rt about the movie was the action packed special<wbr /> effects. Bekmambetov is no stranger to that kin<wbr />d of stuff.  The Horse stamped was a crazy, if n<wbr />ot pure fantasy.  The Cinematography was done we<wbr />ll.  Benjamin Walker was a decent Lincoln, but t<wbr />he award goes to Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Mary<wbr /> Todd Lincoln.  The rest carried their weight.  <wbr />Of course, this is Lincoln we&#39;re talking about, <wbr />so slavery and war were important issues.  But i<wbr />t was killing vampires that worked the magic.
