The  cast was great, especially the actors who p<wbr />layed the dwarves - prize if you can name them a<wbr />ll before the end of the movie.

<br />Lacked two es<wbr />sent elements - one being scale.  The movie trie<wbr />s too much to be LOTR epic but when battle scene<wbr />s looked like sealed knot (if you&#39;re british) re<wbr />enactments it all felt a bit flat.

<br />The 2nd wa<wbr />s logic, even in a fantasy movie you expect some<wbr /> degree of a logical storyline.  And I am not ta<wbr />lking about the whole &quot;mirror, mirror&quot; etc - it&#39;<wbr />s still snow white after all.  I am talking abou<wbr />t the fact that characters appear out of no wher<wbr />e with no sense of distance or Logical explanati<wbr />on of how they got to where they were, in severa<wbr />l cases only blind luck it would seem.
