This one didn&#39;t work for me. I felt nothing for <wbr />3/4 of the film and it makes perfect sense why.
<wbr /><br />The characters are lost as beginners and don&#39;t <wbr />know their way. How am I to know my way if I am <wbr />to follow them?
<br />Plummer&#39;s performance is crowni<wbr />ng. He is completely believable as a late-life c<wbr />loset leaver.
<br />McGregor is well cast as his son <wbr />who has been taught nothing of companionship via<wbr /> his folks&#39; marriage of convenience. 
<br />Laurent p<wbr />lays the love interest of McGregor&#39;s character a<wbr />nd is the most charming and wonderful actress I <wbr />have seen in a while on screen. However, her thi<wbr />ck French accent needed subtitling. I understood<wbr /> about half of what she was saying.
<br />They subtit<wbr />led the dog, but not Laurent......figures.
<br />It i<wbr />s an open ending piece perhaps better enjoyed re<wbr />nted at home.
