Given the mixed reviews, I feel compelled to exp<wbr />lain my rating.  I went with a friend and our 9 <wbr />year old boys.  As a fan of everything sci fi an<wbr />d superior digital effects, I found the movie vi<wbr />sually stunning.  Is the acting great?  Not real<wbr />ly. Does the story jump around with plenty of ho<wbr />les to drive a truck through?  I guess. But in X<wbr />D (Extreme Digital ) Real 3D it plays beautifull<wbr />y and sounds awesome.  The new Tron &quot;grid&quot; world<wbr /> is so unbelievably cool, way moreso than the or<wbr />iginal.  Did you love Hot Wheels?  Do James Came<wbr />ron&#39;s vehicles blow you away? Attention: You are<wbr /> in the Must Go target audience.  Do you want a <wbr />sharply written plot?  Don&#39;t expect it here.  Pl<wbr />ease don&#39;t compare this to the Matrix or Avatar,<wbr /> those were off-the-charts breakthroughs on so m<wbr />any levels.  But seeing Jeff Bridges as his old <wbr />and young self together is too cool, and the new<wbr /> ships and jets are incredible.  When my son lea<wbr />ned over and said &quot;This is awesome!&quot; that&#39;s all <wbr />the review I needed to hear.
