The eye-candy factor was certainly there.  The v<wbr />isual effects were brilliant, and the tie-in wit<wbr />h the original worked fine.  However, I thought <wbr />that it could have used more of the actual Grid,<wbr /> and less of the exposition on modern civilizati<wbr />on.  And the ending was a bit of a letdown.  The<wbr />y clearly were building towards something else, <wbr />but then took a right turn to Gandalf land.  Too<wbr /> bad, really.  It could have been so much more..<wbr />.
