Tim Burton lived up to his reputation with this great children's version of a horror movie that pays homage to almost all of the classics from the original Frankenstein to Gremlins.

Great Movie. Classic Tim Burton

Frankenweenie was a wonderful movie. I will probably see it again because Tim Burton's attention to detail is so spot on that I want to go back and look for things I might not have noticed the first time. Sparky and Victor's relationship took me right back to my own childhood pets and at times it was very emotional. The characters were all just perfectly blended into the story and I never expected to be so touched by this story but it did pull at my heartstrings and remind me how much love our pets bring to our lives. I especially loved how he paid homage to all of the classic horror movies throughout the movie.

The title almost says it all -- definitely a charming and strange gothic tale replete with clever dialogue and quirky characters. Stunning animation and visuals serve as scenic eye candy as well. If you're a Tim Burton fan then you'll probably like this.

When I first saw this movie I will admit I was rather freaked out with the appearance of some characters, including the children. The movie was funny. There was kind of a lesson to be learned with science. It was an emotional movie. if you are a parent, I may not bring the younger children. Teens, I would definitely let them see this movie.

I am a huge fan of Tim Burton and was pleasantly surprised that the entire movie done in black and white. This is a must see for all pet owners! It will most def tug at your heart strings and even make the dudes cry. I was so happy to see Winona Ryder's name in the credits as Elsa!!! Go see this movie! I feel it is appropriate for kids over the age of 7 or 8.
