I took my 17 yr old son and 4 yr old granddaughter to see this movie yesterday...I'm 57 and all 3 of us just loved it. We're all dog lovers in my family and I knew we would love this movie from just seeing the trailer. We love, in particular, weenie dogs and sadly lost our beloved Abbey, our dauchsund who passed away suddenly 3 yrs ago. I cried and laughed during this movie and loved the type of animation only Tim Burton and Disney could team up to create. As you can see from our age difference, this movie is for ALL ages to enjoy!

One of my kids (5 and 3) favorite movies is Nightmare Before Christmas, so we were really looking fwd to another Burton masterpiece. We were not disappointed. Fun with just about the right amount of darkness. As in most Tim Burton movies, the characters are fabulous! My 3 year old daughter actually cried at the end...not because she was scared, but sad that the movie was over!

This was a cute movie, with a nice message. My grandson, who is 7 1/2, did not like that it was in black and white. Kids have so many options these days, that they are used to HD Color, and the black and white did not appeal to him. We did not go to the 3-D, however, that might have made a difference.
