Tim Burton lived up to his reputation with this great children's version of a horror movie that pays homage to almost all of the classics from the original Frankenstein to Gremlins.

I loved this movie. After seeing so many formula movies this was so refreshing and creative. Love Tim Burton and he did this one just right. My kids are grown but they would have loved it. Parents should know how much their kids can handle before bringing under 8 yr. olds. Some little kids at the theater told me they loved it. It has crazy monsters and strangeness....delicious!

The title almost says it all -- definitely a charming and strange gothic tale replete with clever dialogue and quirky characters. Stunning animation and visuals serve as scenic eye candy as well. If you're a Tim Burton fan then you'll probably like this.

When I first saw this movie I will admit I was rather freaked out with the appearance of some characters, including the children. The movie was funny. There was kind of a lesson to be learned with science. It was an emotional movie. if you are a parent, I may not bring the younger children. Teens, I would definitely let them see this movie.

I am a huge fan of Tim Burton and was pleasantly surprised that the entire movie done in black and white. This is a must see for all pet owners! It will most def tug at your heart strings and even make the dudes cry. I was so happy to see Winona Ryder's name in the credits as Elsa!!! Go see this movie! I feel it is appropriate for kids over the age of 7 or 8.
