I laughed, I cried, I smiled, I winced...all with a goofy grin splattered across my face. 'Frankenweenie' is a refreshing blend of child and adult humour throughout the film. I so very much enjoyed the classic styling of the film...I've missed seeing Tim Burton films and this was a great one!

My Grandson loved it. Little bit of the old Frankenstein story updated for kids. The Adults loved it and got the story. I enjoyed it as much as the kids did.

For Tim Burton, this is one of his best movies in years. For those of us that are horror buffs, he pulls out the stops including a cameo from Christopher Lee (Start Wars Count Duku/ LOTR's Soriman) from one of his old Hammer productions from the 50's. It's classic! Being a horror fan from childhood the movie really hit home. Burton has you emotionally compromised in the first 5 minutes building strong feelings for the main characters. This is a key element to a good horror movie.
I had two five year old's in toe and the fear factor was perfect for their age. They were scared but not too scared to quit watching. It was a great introduction into the genera. They came out of the movie excited for their new hero: Frankenweenie!
This is a must see for kids 5-10 or horror buffs.

Frankenweenie was a great Halloween mood setter. Typical Burton animated characters blended into an awesome homage to the 50s horror genre. This isn't the classic of Nightmare Before Christmas, but it is very entertaining and even a little tear jerking at times. This is NOT a children's film and though it isn't overly graphic, some scenes will be tough on the kids. OK for maybe 13 and up. Must Go for Tim Burton fans, Go for everyone else.

Just saw "Frankenweenie" it was so good!!! I love Tim Burton!! I have never seen anything of his that I don't love, "The Nightmare Before Christmas" "Corpse Bride" "Alice In Wonderland" "Coraline" just to name a few, they are all good!! This cartoon movie is in Black and White like "The Nightmare Before Christmas" its in the same story line as "Frankenstein" but with a dog. I love that this is a Disney movie. I didn't see it in 3D, because 3D makes me dizzy. I hate that all the Cartoon movies and some live action movies are going 3D. But anyway if you like Tim Burton then go see this movie!!!
