    Frankenweenie

I loved this movie. It was great to see the friendship of a boy and his dog, and how a dog is your forever friend. I cried but also smiled during the movie.

    Frankenweenie

From the very start I laughed. I am a push over for slap stick comedy. It was well written, all the corn was added; the tongue and cheek humor was there and the characters grow on you. It is good to see the old story re-invented for the kids and parents too. The name tells the story. I am glad that every old horror story was involved, from Godzilla, Igor, swamp thing, Gremlins, and the mummy. Now enough of the teasers, see the movie! One adult, one 7 year old and one 4 year old opinions! It is only black and white if you see it in 3D. Other wise it is in color and much better.

If you've every loved a pet, this movie is a Must Go!

Frankenweenie is much better than the reviews. This movie is silly, creepy fun. I enjoyed it from the beginning to the end. If you like Tim Burton movies, it's a must see. The audience reactions were great. There are sweet and sad aspects to the movie that are very unexpected. We were even talking about seeing again before Halloween!

Not for young kids and adults who want substance

    by leaaz

I thought since this was a Disney movie and it had good reviews it would be a fun afternoon with my 4 and 9 year old. WRONG!! I had to shield by 4 year old's face for half the movie and finally walk out before it ended because he was so traumatized. Don't waste your time or money! I didn't enjoy it either so had no problem leaving but wish I could get 90 minutes of my life back for something with more substance.

    Frankenweenie fun for all

Frankenweenie is a great move for the entire family. We laughed and cried. The story is such a clever twist on the original Frankenstein. The little kids in the theatre were all quiet and well behaved during the movie because it held their interest too. The best proof of how well the audience enjoyed Frankenweenie was at the end the whole theatre applauded.

    Great Movie ...

    by

Frankenweenie - A must see for the entire family.

For the kids great fun and good family life lessons around love, life loss and responsibility. For the parents, great memories of all the great monster movies growing up and reminder to trust your kids to make the right choices.

    Great, heart-warming story!

    by

My family finally went to see this movie last night and we all really enjoyed it! We are big fans of Tim Burton's films and this one did not disappoint. The characters were created so fantastically different than his others, but at the same time, there was no doubt that you were watching a Tim Burton creation. The storyline really held our attention with a young boy and his love for the family dog. We really love our pets, so we left wishing it was a true story! I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't watched yet, but this is definitely a do-not-miss family movie!

    One of Burton's best

    by

I don't know what people are talking about, this movie is perfectly fine for children, no more traumatic then Ice Age 3 or other high action children's movies. This movie is a classic twist on Frankenstein and one of the more heartwarming tales of recent children's movies on the market. When most parents bring there children to cookie cutter sequels, I applaud the few films where I enjoy them just as much as my children.

This is not a children's movie! Parents pay attention please...

    by mav

This is Tim Burton. This is dark, scary and about death. The kids dog dies. Great for pre-teens and up, even a bit younger if you know what to expect. We were shocked when in walked 40 kids from a rec group, club or school- and they were mostly 6-8. By the end they were crying and scared. They are probably having nightmares tonight- what were the teachers/leaders and parents thinking?? The teens and tweens in the audience liked this movie- but it was the adults who loved it. You know your child best- but be educated, know that this is not for sensitive kids. Really young ones had no clue what was going on, but they cried at the scary jump out at you parts- so just be aware so you don't ruin it for the others who came to watch TIM BURTON.

    Too dark

    by

I think Tim Button should stick to making grown up movies. Way too dark for the average Disney movie goer.

    Frankenweenie was a great Movie

Frankenweenie was a great movie. Loved the passion Victor had for Sparky. Totally reminded me of the lo r I have for my dog Yeller. I would recommend it to anyone. The others are right though, I wouldn't bring anyone under he age of 11 or so to if. If definitely has a lot of adult themes to it. I will be watching if once again when it come out in On Demand. Fantastic job by Tim Burton
