I took my son to the movies. His 2 1/2 and its his first time with 3D, he did good. The movie was sweet (kid about his dog) but be prepare this is exactly like "the nightmare before Christmas ". It's not scary for kids but some weird stuff going on.

We took our 2 daughters, ages 8 and 13 and we all loved this movie! It will make you laugh, cry and feel good. Anyone who ever had a dog will totally relate. My kids loved hearing the voice of Atticus Shaefer from The Middle come out of the Egor character! My husband and I loved hearing Martin Landau from the science teacher. We saw it in Imax3d which was expensive, but great! A great family movie. So glad Tim Burton made his short into a movie! It is one pf his best!

The Soul of Tim Burton

You get to see the heart of filmmaker Tim Burton with this movie. The loner young movie maker and his faithful dog who he loses and then brings back to life is Burton to the core. Homages abound to classic horror movies and we get to see Hammer classic Horror of Dracula on the big screen for a few seconds. I loved it. Thank you Tim Burton for this peek into your dark yet big heart.
