    Another good one

    I'm a big fan of Christopher Guest, and this movie was right up there with some of his best. I liked it better than "A Might Wind," though "This is Spinal Tap" is still my all-time favorite. Catherine O'Hara was surprisingly touching as well as hilarious and wouldn't it be ironic if she actually got an Oscar nomination for this role? It's always fun to see Guest's regulars, film after film, and this one had some new actors as well. I particularly liked Ricky Gervais as a slimy yet self-aware film exec.

    For Your Consideration

    Supposed to be funny. Some satire otherwise I found it quite boring. Acting good...but who cares about the acting when the story stinks? Engage me...don't bore me. Tries too hard to be funny. These actors deserve better material than this bottom of the barrel script.
