Very well done. A movie people on all sides of the issue can and should see. Told through the very personal stories of five families, the movie is very informative and thought provoking. The movie speaks openly about topics many people have trouble talking about. The movie has a very non-threatening, non-preaching tone that facilitates discussion.

"for the BIBLE tells me so" presents very important issues in a very moderate, non-provoking way. If this documentary opens only one person's eyes and heart to the acceptance of another, then it truly validates all the efforts by everyone involved in the project.

A great story of different families and their struggles as they realize that their loved-one is gay. It shows acceptance and renewed love. It breaks down emotions; builds communication, and eventually releases fear. The movie attemps to rationalize the Bible's quotes and messages by comparing some other "sins" (working on the Sabbath, etc.) with today's life and dos this in a thought-provoking way. A "must see" for everyone - espeically those who would never see this on their own - take someone to see this!

Compelling story told from the perspective of the "at first" unaccepting parents. Portrays human struggle to resolve conflict of inner believe system and tradition against love and the reality of the moment... Love triumphs in way that even the most opposed has to take notice of the resistance they may be experiencing to accept and embrace a fellow human.
